The DebtClear Roadmap Home Study Course

In order to receive a free copy of The DebtClear Roadmap: A Comprehensive Guide to Debt Relief, Credit Repair, Asset Protection, and Creditor Lawsuits Home Study Course you are required to provide DebtClear and/or its call center with valid contact information including your name, phone number, email address, state you reside in and the approximate total of your unsecured debt.

We use this information to a) send you a download link for The DebtClear Roadmap Home Study Course, b) contact you about the services offered on or in connection with DebtClear, c) send you related third-party offers and d) share your information with a Debt Counselor(s) for the purpose of a free, no-obligation debt consultation. Upon submission of your Contact Information, you will automatically be subscribed to our email and phone lists. Out of respect for your privacy, we present the option to opt-out of further email and phone communications from DebtClear by a) following the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of any DebtClear email, b) responding via email to DebtClear emails with “Remove” in the subject line, c) sending an email to DebtClear customer service cs@debtclear.com, d) sending your opt-out request to us via physical mail to the DebtClear mailing address referenced under “Contact Us” below, or e) following the instructions at debtclear.com/opt-out to be removed from all DebtClear correspondence. Please allow us at least one week to update our records to adhere to your request. DebtClear makes no other promise or guarantee about the use of the information collected, and we have no ability to control the distribution of such information after we have provided it to a Debt Counselor(s).


Registration and the Registration Profile; Opt-Out

In order to use the Website, you must first complete the registration form or call the toll-free number prominently listed on our homepage. During registration you are required to provide valid contact information such as name, phone number, email address, the state you live in and your total credit card and other unsecured debt (such information, and together with your internet protocol address, your “Registration Profile”). We use this information to a) contact you about the services offered on or in connection with our Website, b) enhance your experience of the Website when you return to it, c) track our work with you in our system, and d) without disclosure of such information, to compensate our third-party referral sources. In addition, we may provide all or any part of your Registration Profile to a Debt Counselor(s) for a free, no-obligation debt consultation and you agree that they may contact you. 

Upon submission of your Registration Profile:

a. You will be automatically subscribed to our email and phone lists. Out of respect for your privacy, we present the option to opt-out of further email and phone communications by a) following the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of any DebtClear email, b) responding via email to DebtClear emails with “Remove” in the subject line, c) sending an email to DebtClear customer service cs@debtclear.com, d) sending your opt-out request to us via physical mail to the DebtClear mailing address referenced under “Contact Us” below, e) following the instructions at debtclear.com/opt-out to be removed from all DebtClear correspondence. b. Your contact information will be shared with a Debt Counselor(s) for the purposes of a free-no-obligation debt consultation. DebtClear makes no representations or warranties regarding the use of your information once it is transmitted to any such Debt Counselor(s). You acknowledge therefore, that you submit some information at your own risk. Please review the privacy policies of those Debt Counselors to understand how your information will be used by them.

Other Information Sharing and Disclosure

A. Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)
We share aggregated demographic information about our user base with our advertising affiliates who drive traffic to our website to help them identify and target our ideal customer. This information does not identify individual users and is used to optimize future advertising efforts.

B. Personally Identifiable Information We Share with Third-Parties
We share your Registration Profile and other information that identifies or has the potential to identify you personally, excluding billing information you might provide when purchasing any DebtClear product or service (individually and collectively, “Personally Identifiable Information”) with third-parties for any of three reasons:

1. To match you with a Debt Counselor(s) for the purpose of a free, no-obligation debt consultation;
2. To address SPAM or other complaints and verify that the information you provided us was indeed submitted through our Website; or
3. If we determine that we are required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process; b) protect and defend the rights or property of DebtClear and/or the Website, including but not limited to the prevention or investigation of a possible crime; or c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users or members of the public. We may also share information we collect via cookies (see below) for this reason.

C. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on this site for two main purposes: a) maintaining a consistent user experience while you are using the Website, and b) saving your personalized settings so that when you return to the Website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved and you can easily use the Website's features that you customized. Californina Do Not Track Disclosures

How do we respond to Web browser “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services?

We currently do not respond to DNT signals in browsers because we do not track individual users across the web.
